WHO WE ARE

The first Public Center for Magnetic Resonance Imaging 3 Tesla in the Republic of Moldova

On September 29, 2019 at the Neurology and Neurosurgery Institute in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, the first Public Center for Magnetic Resonance Imaging was opened, with a high magnetic field 3 Tesla. The MRI center at NNI is equipped with a Siemens Magnetom Trio 3T MRI system

The MRI center was created with financial support, provided by the Moldovan-American Civil Society "Moldan Holding", and is equipped with high-performance equipment, which allows investigations of structural changes, visualizes brain structure and the full spectrum of pathological conditions, as well as functional, visualizes brain metabolic disorders and lesions at the cellular level.

The amount of the investment made is over 1 million 600 thousand US dollars.
